Wanda Moreland Walsh

Wanda Moreland Walsh, 82, of Etters died December 2, 2021 at Autumn House-West. She was the wife of the late William James Walsh who was a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Air Force and veteran of WWII. She was born February 20, 1939 in Centerburg, OH and was the daughter of the late Jake and Mary Louise (Fletcher) Moreland. Wanda was a teacher’s aide for West Shore School District. She was a 1957 graduate of Centerburg High School and was a member of Milford Church of Christ in Centerburg, OH. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Walsh Freyser and her husband, Rick of Etters; son, Francis Walsh and his wife, Lisa of Bethlehem, PA; 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Meagan, Joshua, and William; 3 great grandchildren, Dakota, Melody, and Hazel; a brother, Buddy Moreland and his wife, Kathy of Mt. Vernon, OH; and a sister, Judy Litzenberg and her husband, Nelson of Centerburg, OH. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney and a brother, James Moreland. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Milford Church of Christ, 3648 Johnstown Rd, Centerburg, OH 43011. Interment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery with her late husband In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
