Terry Lee Armold

Terry Lee Armold, 70, of York, died peacefully at home on Friday, December 25, 2020. Born in York on October 17, 1950, he was the son of the late Richard and Thelma (Utz) Armold. Terry was the loving husband of Eleanor Patricia (Reider) Armold; they were married October 25, 1975. Terry worked for the former Pfaltzgraff Pottery in York. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church of York. Terry enjoyed car shows, working on cars, and just tinkering around the house. He also had cars that he entered into shows, his 1968 Dodge Dart GTS and his 1971 Dodge Demon. Terry was fond of his pets, particularly his birds. Above all, Terry loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his sons, Jason D. Armold and his wife, Jessica of Dover, Eric L. Armold of York, and Matthew E. Armold of Mount Wolf and his grandchildren, Annabelle, Ashley, Haley, Jackson, Joel, Dakota, Emma, Logan, Destiny, Katelyn, Matthew Jr., Madison, and Dustin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Lou Conley. A funeral service to celebrate Terry’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 11 North Richland Avenue, York, with the Reverend Dr. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the church on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers; contributions in Terry’s memory may be made to the SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
