Suzette Marie Cover

October 2, 1964 - March 28, 2022

Suzette Marie Cover, 57, of Wrightsville, PA, passed into the arms of her loving Savior on the morning of March 28, 2022. Born on October 2, 1964, she was the daughter of Sue (Leiphart) Smith (and stepfather Frederick Smith Jr.) and James Smeltzer Jr. (and stepmother Kathy Smeltzer). Suzette was very happily married to the love of her life, Mark R. Cover of Wrightsville. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this September. She is also survived by daughter Shannon Fritsch and her husband Kevin; her son Matthew Cover and his wife Lindsey; and four dearly loved grandchildren that Suzette loved to spoil: Addison, Jadon, Owen, and Weston. She had three younger sisters: Angie Reed, Jodi Heilman, and Donyae Kalbarczyk. Suzette graduated from Eastern York High School in 1982 and also received an Associate degree from York College of PA. She was a proud small business owner. She was a generous donor to multiple charities and causes, and a member of the Wrightsville Fire Department and the Rotary Club of Eastern York Co. She also served as a board member for the Wrightsville Cemetery Association. She was an avid crafter and shopper. Everybody loved Suzette’s contagious smile and laugh. She was a woman of faith who loved God and loved others. She was a kind, courageous, beautiful, caring, selfless woman who inspired so many. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 243 Hellam Street, Wrightsville with her son, the Rev. Matthew Cover, officiating.
