Susan M. Peters, 87, of York died February 12, 2022 at York Hospital. Born September 26, 1934 in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Fannie M. (Seeger) Peters. Susan retired in 1996 with over 30 years of employment from McCrory Stores. She also worked at York Caramel Company and D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Company. Susan was a member of North Hills Bible Church. She enjoyed flowers and bird watching. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her siblings, Gertie Stough, Sylvia Landis, Hilda Ruth, Edward Peters, Eleanora Henise, Florence Peters, Floyd Peters, Idonna Miller, Alice Peters, M. Levere Peters, Leona Peters, Harry Peters, Charles Peters, and Warren Peters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market Street, York with Pastor David Moss, her pastor, officiating. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
