S. Jane Beck-Dettinger

December 28, 1952 - January 23, 2022

S. Jane Beck-Dettinger of Jacobus passed away on January 23, 2022. Born December 28, 1952 in Laurinburg, North Carolina, she later moved to the York area and graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 1970. For many years, she worked as an administrative professional at a variety of companies, most notably Kinsley Construction and the York County Courthouse. She also co-owned a home décor business based at Graybeard’s Antiques for a time. Jane enjoyed horseback riding and spending time at the beach. She is survived by her husband, Barry Dettinger; her brother, Randy Beck of York, and his wife, Anita; her sister, Mary Ann Beck of Panama City, Florida; her son, Bryant Dettinger of York and his wife, Elizabeth; her daughter, Jennifer Crowell of Forest Grove, Oregon and her husband, Michael Luevane; and her granddaughter Maya Luevane.
