Roman Maurice Padilla

Roman Maurice Padilla, 24, of York died May 6, 2022 at York Hospital. Born September 1, 1997 in York, he was the son of Bernice Bailer and William Padilla. Roman was a 2016 graduate of West York Senior High School where he played basketball and football. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games with his friends and his nephew. He also enjoyed going camping and snowboarding. Roman loved being with his family and friends. In addition to his mother Bernice Bailer (Philmore Chambers) and his father William Padilla, Roman is survived by his brother Kalvin Beady Jr.; sister Vantashia Beady; maternal grandmother Bernice Hurst; paternal grandparents Maria and William Padilla; aunts Jessica Padilla and Charlene Ward; uncle Donald Keeney; nieces and nephews Ci’onnie, Ra’bella, Kalvin III, Kai’leahann, Ka’leahanna, Kalib, Ezra and Elon; cousins Chelsea, Saiquan, Damari, Juwaun and Nayalis; God mother Michelle Johnson; God fathers Gustavo Atehortua and Javier Comas; God sister Exia Smallwood, and a host of extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles M. Bailer. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Redemption International Ministries (formerly 1st Assembly of God), 2270 North Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404 with Pastor Danny Haas officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E.
