Patricia Ann Howe

January 25, 2022

Patricia Ann Howe of Olanta passed away Tuesday January 25th, 2022 at the home of her daughter LeeAnn Fullwood and family in Yorkana. She died peacefully with her daughter by her side. She was the daughter of the late Clair "Elroy" Howe and Orlena Belle (Rowles) Howe. Patricia attended Clearfield High School and graduated from Truck Driving School in the late 1970's. She graduated from Shenango Valley School of Business in New Castle in 1986. She was an entrepreneur; she owned several bait shops at different times in different areas of PA. She made baked goods and crafts to sell and to give to family and friends. She always found a way to put food on the table. Her final job was as a cashier at Walmart. She just loved the customers and made many new friends. She also loved bowling and golfing. She loved Jesus and knew she would meet her loved ones in Heaven. She was affiliated with several churches throughout the years. One of her fondest memories is the trip to Hawaii she was able to take with her daughter Debbie. The trip was a birthday gift from her son Brandon who was in the Navy and stationed there. She is survived by three sons: James B. Mayhew, Jr. and his fiancée Jeannette of Ambridge, Timothy A. Mayhew, of Olanta with whom she resided until October and Brandon O'Dell and his fiancée Paige of Curwensville; two daughters LeeAnn Fullwood and her fiancée Chris of Yorkana and Debra Armstrong and her husband Jim of Mt. Jackson; 12 grandchildren (with one more due soon), 3 step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren (one on the way), and 3 great-great grandsons and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, two brothers, a sister, a niece and a son-in-law. Our family would like to say a special “Thank You” to her hospice nurse, Ashley Brown and Hospice Aide, Misty Bear for the special care they took with our loved one. She did not want a service; her family is planning a celebration of life later. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice in Patricia’s memory. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service. 1111 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
