Meriam I. Copenheaver, 89, of Thomasville, died on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of John W. Copenheaver of Thomasville. Born in Wrightsville on April 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Jacob A. and Isabella M. (Keller) Kopp. Meriam was a dairy packer for Green’s Dairy until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, M. Louise Keckler and her husband Gregg of Gardners; a son, John D. Copenheaver and his wife Dianne of York Springs; and grandchildren, Stuart Keckler, Katie Tuckey, Sarah Reynolds, Martha Caudell, Lydia Wooten, Virginia Shedd, Oliver Keckler, Isaiah Copenheaver and Jonathan Copenheaver. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Copenheaver, a brother, John Kopp and a sister, Wanda Ruby. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at Jireh Independent Baptist Church, 3086 Biglerville Road, Biglerville, PA 17307. A private burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SpriTrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 180 Leaders Heights Road #1, York, PA 17402.
