Loyanne Leona Shinsky

April 3, 1938 - April 20, 2022

Loyanne Leona (Riemer) Shinsky, 84 years old, passed quietly to the care of her heavenly father on April 20, 2022. She was born in Elyria, Ohio on April 3, 1938 to her father Otto Riemer, and her mother, Mary (Eshelman) Riemer. She had three siblings, Bonnie, Glenn and Linda. Loyanne (Anne) loved to travel and enjoyed playing bingo. She was an avid seamstress which included quilting and crochet work. She was employed for over 20 years as a nurse. Anne and her husband Jerry moved many times throughout their lives together, including time in Ohio, Maryland, North Carolina, and eventually, back to Ashland Ohio where they built their lifelong dream of a log cabin. Health issues brought them to York Pennsylvania in 2012 to live with their son Anthony, where they lived out their days. Loyanne is pre-deceased by her eldest son, Dale Robert Shinsky and her husband of 62 years, Jerome John Shinsky. She is survived by two daughters, Debra A. Montgomery of Zion Illinois, Michelle M. Studnicky of Tuscon Arizona, and a son, Anthony J. Shinsky of York Pennsylvania. Loyanne had 12 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren and 2 great grand stepchildren. Following cremation, a private burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
