Linda Lou (Sipe) Barnhart, 77, died on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Lehigh Reginal Medical Center in Lehigh Acres, Florida. She was the wife of the late Johnny C. Barnhart. Linda was born in York on October 20, 1943, daughter of the late Harry M. and Jennie A. (Shaffer) Sipe. Linda was a Certified Nursing Assistant for several nursing homes. She was a member of Wrightsville Assembly of God and was very devoted to her faith and the church. Linda enjoyed flea markets and yard sales. She loved going to the mountains with her family, spending time with her sister at BINGO, and going to car shows with her son. She is survived by her three children, Keith Barnhart and his wife, Ingrid of Columbia, Christine Nace and her husband, Walter of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Cornel “Johnny” Barnhart and his wife, Angie of Hellam; four grandsons, Ian, Toby, Warren, and Nathan Barnhart; sister, Shirley Emswiler of Lehigh Acres, FL; and two brothers, Stanley Sipe of Manchester and Sidney Sipe of York. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig D. Barnhart; three sisters; and five brothers. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York, with Pastor Aaron McNatt officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wrightsville Assembly of God, 365 Orange Street, Wrightsville, PA 17368.
