Janet M. Godfrey

Janet M. Godfrey, 81 of Dover, PA, died at her residence on November 27, 2021. She was the wife of Robert E. Godfrey. Born July 2, 1940 in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Evelyn C. (Naill) Senft. Janet owned and operated Honeysuckle Kennels in Dover for over forty years. She loved horses and was involved in rescue of dogs and cats. In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by two daughters, Kimberly A. Ecker and her husband Robert of East Berlin, PA and Denise M. Godfrey-Good and her husband Jeff of East Berlin; four grandchildren, Heather Brown of Dover, PA, Holly Ecker-Banks of Dover, PA, Kaitlyn Good of York, PA and Kylie Good of East Berlin, PA and three great grandchildren, Alexandria, Chase and Cayden. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bonded By Strength Equine Rescue, 772 Heck Hill Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339.
