Esteban Martinez

Esteban Martinez, 42, of York, died peacefully Sunday, May 8, 2022. Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on February 14, 1980, he was the son of Yolanda Felix of York and the late Esteban Martinez. He was the companion of more than 20 years to Maria Ramos of York. Esteban was a handyman. He was very outgoing and enjoyed life with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother and his companion, Esteban is survived by his stepdaughter, Mariceliz Barbosa and her husband, Frankie Oquendo of York; his stepsons, Edwin Barbosa of York and Juan Barbosa of Boston, MA; his brothers, Samuel and Jose Martinez of York; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Frankie, Evangeline, Kayden, and Marilis. There will be a viewing for Esteban on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York. There will be an additional viewing at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a service to celebrate Esteban’s life starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
