Edwin L. Sanchez, Sr., 50, of York died peacefully at the York Hospital on Friday, October 23, 2020. Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of Elena (Diaz) Ochoa and the late Salvador Sanchez. Edwin was an auto mechanic for several York and Baltimore area garages. He was very mechanically inclined, and could fix anything for family and friends. In addition to his mother, Edwin is survived by his children, Edwin L. Sanchez, Jr. and Sara A. Sanchez; his brothers and sisters, Carida Sanchez, Anna Maria Sanchez, David Sanchez, Elsie Roman, Lissette Roman, and Lillian Diaz; and his grandchildren, Rose Sanchez, Joshua Ramos, and Khalani Lagares. Private services for Edwin will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.
