Donna Jean Dherit

Donna Jean Dherit, 75 of Mount Wolf, PA, died at her residence on March 1, 2022. She was the wife of Michael David Dherit with whom she observed their 53rd wedding anniversary October 5, 2021. Born December 5, 1946 in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Cunningham) and George E. Blockinger, Jr. Donna was a 1964 graduate of York Suburban High School. She was employed as a medical assistant for 25 years at Apple Hill Podiatry. Donna was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church and the Pleasureville Red Hat Ladies. She loved traveling and collecting memorabilia from places she traveled. In addition to her husband Mike, she is survived by two sons, Gregory Dherit and his wife Kathie of Manchester, PA and Brian Dherit and his wife Jennifer of Manchester, PA, four grandchildren, Katelyn, Logan, Zachery and Dillon, a sister, Janet Poole of Dover, PA, two nephews, Nathan Stone and his wife Alicia of Manchester, PA and Sean Stone and his wife Mary of York, PA and two great nephews, Aiden and Connor. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Pleasureville United Methodist Church, 2606 N. Sherman Street, York, PA with Pastor Ross Judy, officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery following the funeral service.
