Daniel Lee Sweitzer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Daniel Lee Sweitzer, 59 of Dover, PA, died at his residence on July 31, 2022. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Fillmore) Sweitzer, with whom he observed their 34th wedding anniversary on December 12, 2021. Born May 7, 1963 in York, PA, he was the son of Caroline (Herr) Sweitzer of York, PA and the late Donald Sweitzer. In addition to his wife and his mother, Dan is also survived by his three daughters, Amanda C. Rode and her husband Josh of Etters, PA, Hannah L. Sweitzer of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Sarah L. Sweitzer of Dover, PA and a brother, Randy Sweitzer and his wife Doris of Thomasville, PA. Dan retired on June 1, 2021, as an HVAC Mechanic with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 520 of Harrisburg, PA. He was a 1981 graduate of West York Area High School and attended Living Word Community Church of York. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in the Life Center at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion, PA with Connie Milchling officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Life Center at the church. The family will receive friends and guests following the service for a time of food and fellowship in Common Grounds at the church.
