Brenda L. (Kline) Townsley

Brenda L. (Kline) Townsley, 72 of Hellam, PA, died at her residence on February 20, 2022. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Townsley, Jr. Born June 28, 1949 in Columbia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mervin B. “Bren” and Rena E. “Betty” (Eimerbrink) Kline. Brenda was a 1967 graduate of Eastern York High School and was previously employed as a visual merchandiser for J.C. Penny. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Hellam, the Kreutz Creek Valley Preservation Society and the Eastern York Athletic Booster Club. As an avid fan of Eastern York sports, she was true to the Blue and Gold! Brenda is survived by her three children, Brian E. Townsley of Hellam, PA, Beth M. Taylor and her husband Chuck of Hellam, PA and Amy L. Schoelkoph and husband Jake of Columbia, PA; four grandchildren, Thomas Taylor, Bren Taylor, Ryan Townsley and Molly Townsley and a sister, Linda Kline and her husband Barry Hubley of Hellam, PA. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street Wrightsville, PA, with her pastor, the Rev. Paul N. Frank, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Thursday at the funeral home. The family requires that those in attendance please wear a mask. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville, PA following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern York Athletic Booster Club, P.O.
