Barbara J. Kelly

Barbara J. Kelly, 79, of Wrightsville died June 19, 2022 at UPMC Memorial. She was the wife of Edward P. Kelly. They married July 16, 1961in Mount Union, PA. Born September 16, 1942 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mable (Bare) Coffman. Barbara worked in food service for Eastern York School District and retired with over 20 years of employment. Barbara graduated from Captain Jack Joint High School in Mount Union, PA. She was a member of Wrightsville Hope United Methodist Church where she was active in Vacation Bible School and Cub Scouts. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and bird watching. Barbara was a wonderful wife and mother to her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by her sons, Warren Duane Kelly and his wife, Christine Goldsberry and Steven Brian Kelly and his wife, Michele Miller all of Wrightsville and John Paul Kelly and his wife, Jennifer Baldwin of Airville; 7 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Joyce Reynolds of Huntingdon, PA and Nancy Cutshall of Three Springs, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, PA with Pastor Jerry Schmidt, her pastor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The family asks for those attending, please dress casually and wearing of masks are optional. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wrightsville Hope UMC, 404 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, PA 17368.
