Avrelle Tracie Preston Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Avrelle Tracie Preston, 57, of York, died peacefully at the York Hospital on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Known as Tracie by friends and family, she was born in Philadelphia on May 8, 1962 to the late Oswald and Sarah (Womack) Ferguson. Tracie was the loving wife of the late Robert Preston, Jr. Tracie was a nursing assistant for WellSpan Health Services at the York Hospital. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church of York. Tracie was a loving and caring aunt, friend, and sister who would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She cherished time spent with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Tracie is survived by her brother, Rayland Ferguson; her sisters, Marie Wise Heard, Phyllis Scott, and Brenda Adams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tyrone Ferguson and her sisters, Celia Coleman, Constance Colbert, Etrulia Robert-Gay, Erannia Lisby, and Sanya Watson. In accordance with Tracie’s wishes, following cremation, a memorial service will be held in her honor. Due to current circumstance regarding public health, the time, date, and location of the memorial service will be announced later.
