Aretta M. Fink

February 25, 1954 - February 7, 2022

Aretta M. Fink, 67, of Spring Grove, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in York on February 25, 1954, she was the daughter of Reba (Crone) Miller of York and the late Newton Miller. Aretta was the loving wife of Steven R. Fink, they were married December 9, 1972. Aretta was a 1972 graduate of West York High School. She was a Children’s Ministry Director for the former Christian Life Church and York Christian Fellowship. Earlier in life she worked for York Tape and Label and later in life was an associate at the West York Target. Aretta enjoyed singing. She loved to take camping trips with her husband Steve, especially to Wildwood and Cape May, NJ. Above all, Aretta will be remembered for her love of working with children and the many young lives she brought to Christ. In addition to her husband and mother, Aretta is survived by her children Crystal Altland, and her husband Rodger of Spring Grove, Travis J. Fink of Spring Grove, and Joni Fink of Felton. She is also survived by her siblings Anita Ness, Sue Loucks, Keith Miller, Steve Miller, Bryan Miller, Wilmer Miller, and Mark Miller and her beloved grandchildren Isaac, Caleb, Logan, Brianna, Brooklyn, Hannah, Brody, and Morgan. Aretta was proceeded in death by her father Newton Miller, her grandparents Wilmer and Fannie Crone, father-in-law Robert Fink, mother-in-law Janet Fink and brother-in-law Darryl Fink. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York, with Tyler Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Aretta’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
