Anna L. Shearer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anna L. Shearer, 68 of Wrightsville, passed away on April 8, 2021 at the Pappus House with her daughters by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald L. Shearer. Born on January 22, 1953 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of Lorenzo Iacono of Dover and the late Patricia (Repman) Iacono. Anna was a former purchasing agent for Pool Pak. She was a member of Wrightsville Hope United Methodist Church. Anna is survived by two daughters, Alecia Laing and her husband, Jack of Windsor and Megan Shearer and her husband, Corey Ruth of York; three brothers, Leonard Iacono of Dover, William Iacono of St. Petersburg, FL, and Sam Iacono of Wrightsville; two sisters, Debra Abdalla of Virginia Beach and Michelle Iacono of Dover; and three grandchildren, Riley Laing, Zora Welsh, and Cori Mae Ruth. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Wrightsville Hope United Methodist Church, 404 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, PA 17368 with Pastor Jerry Schmidt officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. A luncheon to follow afterwards downstairs at the church. All current COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pappus House, 253 Cherry Street, York, PA 17402.
